Make Good Things Happen

Newsletter 17 November 2023

We have had an absolutely incredible response to the Social Supermarket in the 4 weeks it has been running. We have over 60 households come through and last week saw an all time high of 43 households attending. We have also had a huge amount of community support and we are so grateful for this. From individuals to businesses we love hearing what the Social Supermarket means to you and the positive effect you see it having on our town.

You may want to stop food waste, support the project, be at the end of the month and need your money to stretch, simply be interested in seeing how it works, want to meet your friends somewhere warm for a free hot drink or are finding the rising costs or your grocery shop hard.

Whatever your reason this really is a project that is for everyone and all living in Buckfastleigh and the surrounding villages are welcome.

See you at Buckfastleigh Rangers Football and Social Club every Tuesday between 15:30-17:30 where you can get at least 10 items for a suggested donation of £3.50 (cash only).
