You will have probably noticed that the Otters have moved out :(. It’s been a pleasure hosting “Agnes & Olave” over the Summer and briefly “Salmon Run”. It’s been fantastic seeing lots of visitors to the town all part of the Dartmoor National Park, Otter Spotter Trail. We hope the Otters enjoy their new homes.

Be Better Off
Are you a local business who is looking to take on new members of staff. We are happy to place your job adverts in the Living Room window, after all, not everyone is on social media.
You can send us a flyer or pop a printed job advert through the letterbox for us to display.
We will also be looking to have another Careers Fair for the Hospitality trade soon. Get in touch if you would like to be part of it.
Feedback and Fundraising
As a Community Interest Company “CIC”, Be Buckfastleigh works with the people of Buckfastleigh and surrounding areas to create a range of activities and services which connect people to each other, their community and to nature and the environment.
So that we can continue to deliver theses projects, we rely totally on fundraising efforts, from large Lottery bids down to local fundraising events.
To back up our bids, your feedback on any of our activities and projects is very welcome and forms part of our bid writing process.
If you would like to support us you can, we do not make a charge for our services, and never want anyone to feel obliged to make a payment to join in what we do. However, if you wish to make a donation towards the cost of future activities you can drop something into us at the Living Room or use BACS transfer to:
Sort Code 60-04-23
with the reference “donation”.
All donations will be used to pay for more activities over Autumn and Winter.
That’s it for this week. Have a safe weekend!
