The Great Buckfastleigh Easter Treasure Hunt starts 10am on Easter Monday. Pick up a treasure map from the Living Room, 55 Fore Street, find the answers to all the clues then collect your treasure back at the Living Room from 2-4pm.

Share Shed

Share Shed returning to Buckfastleigh 17 April.

World’s first mobile library of things is reopening in Buckfastleigh The Share Shed is a mobile library of things, which offers over 350 useful items for people to borrow at a low cost, helping many people to get things done, whilst saving money and resources.

The initiative run by the Network of Wellbeing is excited to announce that following the government’s guidelines, they will be able to reopen on 17th April in Buckfastleigh with its mobile version, which currently also serves, weekly, Totnes, Ashburton and South Brent.

Among its most popular items, you can find carpet cleaners, strimmers, pressure washers, tents, lawnmowers, projector, sewing machine, power drills and many more.

Mirella Ferraz, Share Shed Coordinator, says: “We’re excited that we’ll be able to continue supporting a more sustainable and collaborative lifestyle, especially during a time of so many challenges.”

You can find the Share Shed van on Saturdays, from 10am to 11.30, at the Rangers Football & Social Club Car Park, and from 12h to 1.30pm at the Victoria Woodholme Car Park.
