As we move out of lockdown over the next couple of months, we are now looking to plan our programme for in person events and activities.

Friendship – what does friendship mean to you? How have those relationships helped you during the past 12 months? Have you created new ones recently or have some drifted apart? What make a good friend and is it ok to go periods of time without communicating with them?
If you wish, share your story of friendship.
All welcome – young and old, male and female, black and white, left and right. Only rule is – don’t say anything that you think might offend someone. Everyone gets a go to speak, but it’s up to you to take it! If you want to listen, that’s fine too. See you there.

Riverford Free Chilled Meals
The team at the Riverford Field Kitchen are loving the opportunities to create delicious meals for us each week and are grateful for any feedback that you can give them. It would be fantastic if we could get a few short video clips of you saying thank you, or maybe a sound bite or creative thank you.
Send over your recordings, video’s or images to us and we will pull it together into a short montage to send to them.
Did you know that they are cooking nearly 500 meals which go to supporting several difference charities and groups in our local area?
Meals arrive on Tuesday’s and are ready for collection from 3:30 – 5pm and on Wednesday 2-5pm only. Please remember to bring a bag when you are collecting.
If you’ve not tried one and feel that this might help you out right now, please send us an email with how many you would like and which day you want to collect them and we will pop you on the list. Remember to include your postcode.

and will close on Sunday 5pm or when we have met our maximum numbers, whichever is sooner.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to give us some feedback. If you’ve not had a chance, please do take some time as it really makes a difference. As a registered CIC, our funding to support all of our activities and programmes is through fundraising. Part of the fundraising process is to evidence how this is making a difference to peoples lives and the wider community.
To capture this information we are looking for testimonials and recommendations from community members, who have participated in any of these event or activities and especially so over lockdown.

We Need Your Ideas
As we prepare to plan for our exercise classes out of lockdown we would like to know what classes you would like to see in Buckfastleigh:
What days are good – weekday or weekend?
What times are good- daytime or evenings?
Type of class – High impact, gentle, fun?
We have some fantastic instructors and others wanting to deliver classes for us, so now’s our time to create a fantastic fitness offer for the summer.

Hooperlative Health & Fitness
Whilst we are unable to deliver our in person exercise classes, we do have the ability to link you up to various virtual fitness classes which you can attend from the comfort of your own home via Zoom.
Current classes meet pretty much all levels of fitness and you can work at your own pace.
If you are interested in Zumba, HIIT, Circuits, Legs, Bums & Tums, Hoop or a gentle movement class, please drop us a message and let us know what class you’d be interested in.
